    Nice 1962 GE stove..

Found this perusing Craigslist and thought I'd share...beautiful, and not a bad price. After that, I searched vintage under appliances and was amazed at how many were out there, some with ridiculous prices of course. http://https//stlouis.craigslist.org/app/5218747636.html

    KDC-20a

Thanks Ralph! When did Hobart stopped making them? I saw where you also collect phones, I do as well. I have seven plugged in right now and only one is touch-tone!

    KDC-20a

I just acquired the above dishwasher in what appears to be in excellent physical condition. I got if from the new owners of a house with a dated kitchen, and they are doing a complete remodel and wanted to sell it. The interior is in excellent condition, racks and all, spray arms look great...

    Help..shopping

Looking for some expert opinions on buying a new dishwasher to replace my Kenmore Ultra Wash which is at least 15-16 yrs. old. I do not work on major appliances, so a little hesitant on looking for a vintage model, although I do love the old Kitchenaids! I was in Home Depot today and looked at...

    Asko?

I'm not familiar with this brand, however I have the chance to buy a relatively new set for $100.00. Can anyone enlighten me on these, how well they work, repair issues, etc.? Thanks.

For sale: Dazey "Natural Wonder" hair Dryer

I have my mom's, who passed on last year and I don't know what I'm going to do with hers either. Hers is called a "Lady Dazey", looks just like yours. They do work well if you happen to be a "roller set"!

    Frigidaire Custom Flair Imperial Stoves*Samantha's

There are two of these stoves currently listed on Craigslist/St. Louis. One is $250.00, the other is $400.00, the latter said she's ready to deal, just wants to get it out of her basement. I think these were both removed for remodeling jobs and look really nice. Just thought someone out there...

New Display OMG, takes my breath away, totally! It's great that you have that much room for your display, and what a collection! You have such a vast collection, did you start collecting in the womb? Another plus is knowing they've all been serviced by you, so they're showroom new! Great job...

    My first ebay disaster.

Hoover 31 Corey, I feel your pain! I bought a Lux G from ebay a few years ago, paid a decent price, the seller just threw it in a box, no packing materials, and it arrived with one back wheel and one front wheel broken. I contacted him and he requested that I mail the broken wheels back as...

    Vintage Laundry Soaps

Bluing? One product that I miss is LaFrance bluing powder. I wear white dress shirts daily and I loved the results, but one day I couldn't find it anywhere. I called the 800 nbr. on the box, and they said the company that made it for Dial closed it's doors and they hadn't been able to find...

Help me buy a good but inexpensive vacuum

Upright or Canister?? Hi Jason, if you can get by without tools, I'd go for a Sanitaire, or the commercial Eureka from Sam's. They're a little loud but have a great brushroll, long cords, and really deep clean a carpet. Since you'll later have the Connie, it would be nice to have an upright for...

    Kirby Sentria

Kirbys Out of my dozen or so Kirbys, my favorite is my restored Classic III. When I vacuum with it, I change the bag over to a Legend II conversion, quiets it down, and I like being able to throw the bag out! I had a new Classic when they first came out and loved it, but when the Classic III...
