My collection consists primarily of KitchenAid dishwashers. They include a KD-12 in white, (2)KDS-15 Superba Vari-Cycle, (3)KDI-15 Imperial Dua-Cycle, KDC-15, KDS-16 & KDS-36 (a 16 model in a dishwasher-sink model), KDI-16, KDC-16, (2)KDS-17a, KDI-17, KDI-17a, KDC-17, (2)KDS-18, KDI-18, KDC-18 and in the Energy Saver V series---KDS-20, KDP-20, KDI-20, KDC-20 and a Fisher & Paykel 605-SS dishdrawer.
I also have a WU600 Maytag dishwasher all push button model (Thanks Nate!)as well as a Maytag WU103 dishwasher.
In the General Electric line I have a GSD-1200, GSD-463 portable, a mid 70s GE Potscrubber II, 1956 GE 1SU60N, and a 1958 GE princess.
What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
I can remember visiting my Aunt when I was in kindergarten. She actually used to live in the very house in which I am currently living. I loved loading and watching her KitchenAid Superba dishwasher-sink 36 (16 dishwasher) while operating. (Same model is still in use today in my kitchen.)
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
I also have a coppertone Maytag washer A606 and a gas dryer DG606 in storage. I also have a white Maytag set that I am currently using (A208) and a Maytag dryer Electronic Control model.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
Yes, working on KitchenAid dishwashers. I have use and care models from KD-10 through KD-22 model. Also have the service manuals. Used to repair my Moms friends machines even back when I was in high school.
