Trouble Prone
Frigidaire stopped manufacturing these dryers because they were trouble prone. The motors they used failed more frequently than non reversing. That is why they are gone.

Sorry
I hate to tell you after all of the labor you have put into this but.....I may have been a very simple fix. On the back of the machine at the top is a round vent cap that attaches to a vent tube. If the vent tube has became loose or if the cap is off, then it will allow the tub to smack...
Can't wait until they go Out Of Business
They are a bunch of dirty bastards and if they close tomorrow, it would not be too soon. I also used to work for them, and they are horrible to their employees. I would pay more for an item anywhere else rather than make a purchase at Circuit City.
Yes Detergent

Maytag Third Rack Dishwashers
I've used the three rack dishwashers from Maytag and hated them. It is a constant pain shuffling the racks up and down to accomodate items. The third rack is just about useless, since you have to raise the second rack to get anything in it, and when you raise the...
Rain Barrel
Rain Barrel was made by Johnson Wax and it was designed to be added to the wash cycle along with the detergent. It could also be added to the rinse but only about half as much. It in my opinion had the best scent of any fabric softener ever. I remember Consumer Reports slammed it...
Looks like a rust problem waiting to happen
Over the course of time it looks like rust will be a problem for these machines, even ones that the funnel doen't overflow. Constant drops splashing out on the inside of the cabinet is probably going to be a problem. I think it might not be a bad idea...
Well.....I can't think of a detergent better able to remove the stain than Tide w/bleach. I guess we know why the man in the Purex commercial is naked. Purex couldn't remove the stain...so the man just removed his drawers.
