the machine is flashing that oFlo msg in the first and second spins the third time the machine drains the msg once again pops up but the machine doesn't stop like it does on the first two
I remember those!
Back in the day.... when I worked at Murphy's Mart...We sold them in the store and for less than $60 you could get one of these on sale. For an inexpensive processor it managed to do the job. Than people came aware of Cuisinart machines and all the attachments you could get...
you mentioned that you've cleaned the filter which is a good start but have you also taken the wash arm out of the unit and checked to make sure there isn't anything possibly blocking the arm?
that machine looks like it's never been used
I don't think you'd have an issue running that machine. I would take a hose and pour some water into the tub to make sure it holds water with no problem. Provided that checks out and that it pumps out ok and spins with no problem I'd say you're all set.
That Norge is my dream machine. A friend had one of those when I was much younger and I fell in love with it once I saw it running. A true work horse that really worked at getting the clothes clean. And enough cycle options to handle any kind of laundry that comes it's way
Someone should grab this while they have a chance. Looks to be in decent shape that a lil work would clean that up nicely. Just hope there isn't any hidden problems lurking under the hood.
If it's having a problem with agitation it could possibly be a broken motor coupler. Which isn't a major problem to fix. They don't mention the severity of the problem.
my choices--
I have a group of them I'd like to have-
Kitchen Aid kds17
Whirlpool or Kenmore with the powerclean unit from the 90's
Frigidaire with the pushbutton control rapid advance cycle timer from the late 70's
Maytag Reverse Rack the later models. Loved the way they sounded when...
actual video's of this machine???
Would you happen to have any videos of this washer posted so we can see it in action?
This machine is one of my favorites. A friend of mine had one of these (no button selectors but all dials). Was always amazed on how powerful the washer sounded when it was...
Both very nice machines
Nice machines for their time. I think they refer to that washer as a piano key machine because of all the cycle &option buttons to choose from.
One other thing to think about is what kind of operational condition are these units in. Are they currently running, need some...
