I mainly collect vacuum cleaners. I love direct drive style washing machines. I still have the washing machine I grew up with, and it’s never had any repairs in its life.
What are your dream machines yet to be found?
One of my dream machines are a direct drive Whirlpool ultimate care II, and a Frigidaire dryer that came with the washing machine as a set.
What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
Some of my earliest memories are watching my dad vacuum the house. If I didn’t bothered having any interest in vacuum cleaners, I probably wouldn’t have taken an interest in appliances like washing machines.
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
I’ve owned quite a bit of vacuums. I’m just now starting to grow my collection of vacuum cleaners.
My stove, refrigerator, microwave, and washing machine have stayed the same for more than 20 years.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
The only appliance that I’ve done repairs on are vacuum cleaners.
