My regular 3 in the kitchen,96 Whirlpools that work fine. My 84 Maytag LA511 washer and matching LDE410 dryer and Grandmothers 50"s Maytag wringer with red trim and pump plus my 48 Semi Automatic Kenmore wringer. And a 1977 Whirlpool Mark Series microwave that still works fine.
What are your dream machines yet to be found?
Prefer toys, like a Wolverine wringer washer and Automatic washer. Now I have a Rite Hite Kenmore 2 1/2 foot tall toy washer I found thanks to Robert.
What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
My mother and 3 aunts going out and buying their first automatics. One a Maytag, one a Frigidaire, a Bendix Economat and my mother a Kenmore Cycla Fabric, the old Maytag outlasted them all
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
I owned several apartment houses that had to have stoves, refrigerators, dishwashers, washers, etc., changed out way too often due to tenants. Glad I dont have them anymore.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
could tear down any Whirlpool/Kenmore and repair, but never tackled a Maytag before and now I got to to keep my old one going forever and it still works like new, as does my 48 Kenmore wringer, fun to play with.
