Sad news folks. After spending a ton of money on parts and several hours of work I discovered a rust hole in the tub that is unfixable. So unless I can find a new tub which I highly doubt, the washer is DOA and I have a tools and seals to sell for a 50 year old washer....really bummed

Im having trouble getting the old bearing off, its really stuck on there. Any tricks to get it?

When I replace the tub seal do I have to do the bearing as well? Is there anywhere I can look to see how to do this? Ive never done one before Also, stupid question, which dirrection is the thread to loosen, is it normal left hand turn or is it backward. Somebody once told me they were reverse...

I have finally summoned up the courage to try and fix my 70s vintage Maytag Ga208 that needs a tub seal. I wanted to ask does anybody know what seal Kit I need and where to find it. Google seems to not tell me much of anything and doesnt believe the Ga208 even exists. Also which spannar do I...
