doing laundry as a child, our house had a frigidair, Babusha had a ge 57, then kenmores, Grandma, had a wringer 1940s square tub, and eventhough I got lectured she would let me rinse the clothes and taught me how to boil starch, and the the best of blueing
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
I had a 1940s wringer square tub in my first appartment, then a hover twin tub, then a kenmore apartment size, moved and had a magic chef/norge, a horrible frigidaire-not the puslater kind, then kenmore beltdrive, then direct drive, moved and got a westinghouse frontloader, replaced the barriengs then then got a maytag then a ge spiral when I moved back to MN I got a maytag 1960s extra large tub, then my maytag wringer from a friend, and then I bought a ge spacesaver, the last one with an agitator. now I use a costco twin tub
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
I worked on the white westing house and replaced the barrings then replaced belts on the maytag and also the water pump
