Hello. My name is Sean and I've recently joined this group. I bought a 1937 Maytag, in good running condition but fair condition cosmetically. I live in Remsen New York. This is the first ringer washing machine, or any Appliance, that I've ever had to work on. I'm looking forward to getting it running and looking well and using it. Thank you for letting me join.

Hello!!! I am new too! Ive been rebuilding and loving vintage washers for a while now! Currently have a 1992 Kenmore UFC 80 series Almond set as our main washer and dryer. And a 1985 GE Filter Flo in our big family kitchen (a separate building for big family dinners) as well as a 1983 speed queen wringer washer! I just got the Filterflo washer, it has been well taken care of, its owner passed away a few years ago, she was 94 and had been in assisted living for about 7 years before that so its seen little use. She bought it brand new in 1985. Also got a 1972 Kitchenaid Imperial dishwasher from her as well that she had purchased new and installed it in our big kitchen too! I look forward to reading thru this forum and learning a thing or two about the filterflo, this is the first time ive worked on one. Im only 35 so my knowledge on them is limited, i remember my grandmother having one when i was smaller but that was a long long time ago. Service info on these is getting scarace!
