I'd get another Power Clean Filter Module and use this one for parts. Don't let the Holy Grail slip away.
What is the model number of that machine? Do you have the pics of the inside?

My aunt has that exact dishwasher in her garage. According to the date code, it is from 1994. Its model number is KUDD230B0. Inside, it looks pretty much identical to my KDS-21, except that the upper wash arm is plastic instead of stainless, and the detergent dispenser is white instead of turquoise.

How I wish they still made this exact machine but without the ability to over-ride the water heating and with two water valves. And with a 2000s version Power Clean Filer Module. and with at least two full rinses.
Other than that it is a beautiful and well built machine. Whirlpool cleaned up a lot of the unnecessary complexity that Hobart had and made it a more reliable machine overall. Anything Whirlpool Power Clean and Whirlpool Kitchen-Aid makes me emotional.

Sorry to hear about the demise of your 25 series, I have the flat front panel (Architect Series) version and it's one of my all-time favorite dishwashers.
I'd really like to see the new top wash arm you printed. What did you think of the change in performance?
The 23 series you re-installed is also a great machine, I bought a similar model in 1995.

Right, when the KUDD23 is beyond repair, I'd put in a Power Clean Filter Module and use the KUDS25 for parts. You'll never find another group of dishwasher like this, ever, period.
