Heads Up! SQ Washer

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support AutomaticWasher.org:

I had a pair of these in Maryland in the 1990's, left them go with the property when I sold. I really wish I'd have kept them, though by now I'd have worn them out from moving through 7 homes in 3 states... Picked them up for nothing, the tripod base of the washer had simply come unbolted... a few years later, a connection burnt up in the dryer, both silly easy fixes.

Very nice model! I'd for certain pick that up if it's in good enough shape to replace my grandfather's trashy Maytag, he'd have SQ at both his house and cabin.

I have a couple early 1980s SQ Marathons: an '82 with porcelain tub and an '84 with stainless tub-noisy and a little crude, but effective :) nowhere near the fit and finish quality of an older DC Maytag, but those are a high standard in that regard.
