Well, what is the best dryer for that washer?

Supposedly the two more expensive dryers will have the automatic shut-off by thermostatic control, not a humidistat or moisture sensor?

Will that washer have a true slow speed, as opposed to intermittent action, for a delicate cycle?

Which dryer is its best mate?

People nearby had that washer and the $118 dryer, looked quite matched. It was an actual 2 speed washer but had one water inlet, so temp is set at faucet and it filled to the top unless you stopped the timer at the water level you like and set timer at 5 minutes. Dryer was high or no heat set on the timer. No thermostatic control

Dave, that washer is a near bottom-of-the-line model with very minimal features, although it is a step-up vs. a 100% bottom-of-the-line that would have one speed, only a Normal cycle and no lint filter. Those models are intended to lure customers in via the low price and by which the salesman would upsell to a better model with more features such as a water level selector, temperature control separate from the timer, and perhaps a Permanent Press cycle.

The $118 dryer is its direct, aesthetic-match companion, with one (high-temp) timed dry cycle and a no-heat air-fluff cycle.

The $138 dryer is a step-up model.

The $299 machine is a bottom-of-the-line washer-dryer combination model, not a stand-alone dryer.

But if you insisted (Demanded) that you wanted that model at Sears, they would try everything to up sell you and if its was this model you wanted, sorry ,now out of stock, maybe a few weeks before you could get it. The salesperson lost his tiny commission on the low end sales but if he sold a Lady K, cha-ching..
