Creda or Hotpoint? The base machines were built by hotpoint and then sold on to creda, which then put the front panel on and sold them. This is why so many machines look like the hotpoint wm62 / wm64.

What's a Sudslock? Basically when the machine spins, the water still in the drum which can not be removed by the pump quick enough drags on the drum causing motor stress, this is why new machines use profile spins.

Some nice things then... I spy a Casseta Hotpoint!!!! - I will say that I did not know that the Door Button was coloured blue too - This must be the same as the hotpoints available in Beige/Cream. Our WM64 did not have any colour on the door button as ours was the white and green one.

My favourite one? I have said this before and will say it again - The hotpoint Aqaurius WM64 is the very best machine you can get, Well one of them, and I am still looking for one. Spin Speed: 1200RPM. Load = 5KG. Built in 1997-1999, these machines were the last of hotpoint to be built to last.
