I had that same Kenmore dryer from 1975ish. Great dryer, mine was gas. Given to my ex-brother-in-law along with a 70 series washer with a clogged self=cleaning filter and I bought my Maytag 511 washer and 410 dryer that I am still using today.

I hate the fact that all packaging seems to be Family Size. For one person you end up throwing alot away that spoils before you get to finish the package. Since I eat alot of salad, things like lettuce turned brown in just a few days so I throw 1/2 a bag away every week, what a waist.

Running a gas stove with pilots shut off is a pain to light every time for you. Plus someone unaware of no automatic ignition could turn gas on and KABOOM

You're right Eddie, those old cars were great. Unfortunately, my first car was a 63 Rambler Wagon with a gutless 196-6cyl. It used more oil than gas .And after 41 vehicles later I still have my 13 Silverado and my 81 Corvette.

I bet it was originally made as a Police interceptor. Biscaynes were all dark colored but they were right there to catch the bad guys.
