tub "indexing" ? I notice my SQ toploader tub does "index" counter clockwise to the left during agitation. Is this because the machine is "NEW" and after a break in period will stop ? If the machine has water and no clothes it does NOT do it, if it has clothing and water it does.

lid switch under the back console (the top of the machine does not come off) behind the timer is the lid switch which can be disconnected and you can join the wires together, obviously just use a wire nut or elec tape when joining them and make sure they're covered. I just shimmed the existing...

bleach and SS I was told that DW dets with bleach are bad for stainless steel interiors; is this true ? I know bleach and/or chlorine is corrosive with anything repeatedly over time .......

just bought one ! Just got a top-loader and it makes the exact same sounds / noise as the older style maytags from the early 80's and before. It appears to be of great quality ! 3 year parts AND labor warranty on everything ! I love it !

fill it up unless you go with Whirlpool or Maytag direct drives which are still filling all the way up. The only machine I know of that has a traditional speed stroke and full 180 degrees is the Speed Queen. I think that is what I will go for.

Will this machine be a hit? Is LG the "maker" of this ? well I was looking inside the washer lid of one in Lowe's very recently and it says inside the lid not to cover the stump, if you will, for lack of better words or whatever that very low small round thing is on top of the agitator disc...

don't use .......... Don't get the kind that works off the "return" line or off the water line coming back into the pool from the filter. It made the sand "back up" and clog the filter internally where the whole filter had to be taken apart. Get a kind that works off an intake/skimmer/suction...

to heavy ... can also be used as a "wrecking ball" when you swing it into the kitchen during your refurbishing to retro
