The first rinse I have a question regarding the temp of the first rinse. Do you run the water at the tap for the 1st rinse? The water in the line would have time to cool a bit since the main wash would have been 30+ minutes. I suppose the temp of the last rinse would be up to temp with the 1st...

Nice washer My Mom's first (and last) automatic washer was an A208S purchased in 1976. The machine is still in use for the person who purchased the house in 2017. You have a great addition to your collection. And yes those timer motors get louder as they age.
