Hi Kacy I just purchased the Frigidaire Gallery front load washer GLTR1670FS and the stainless steel dryer GLER104FSS and I love them! I've had several Frigidaire sets before and tons of other machines too. (My ASKO's are in the garage) The first thing I did when I got the new set delivered was...

Made in Germany - Clean and Fresh

Purex products here in the US are made by Henkel. I actually just bought some Purex Mountain Breeze fabric softener, a gallon for about $5. I says it does 40 loads and since I have a front loader, I use half the amount, so I should get about 80 loads. Not too bad. I was in the market for...

give a guy a break... Matt, I did say the refinished stove is beautiful. And just for the record, I wasn't 'picking' I really was not sure if it was the right picture or not. I'm not a stove person, so I didn't know. It seemed an extreme makeover, with less burners an all, but they are very...

    Moving a Washer and/or Dryer

thanks guys Not too far...say across town (5-10 miles). I would say a top loader like an old maytag, I could lay on it's side? And a front loader I would lay it on it's back? The reason I ask it that I have a fried who has an Escalade and I could use that sometimes vs. paying the 40 bucks to...

    Moving a Washer and/or Dryer

Hi Gang, If you have to move a washer/Dryer and you couldn't fit them in standing up and you have to lay them on their side to move them for a short distance what's best? Lay them on their side? (LT or RT?) Lay them backwards or on their front? Thanks! -Laurent

Same stove? Are they the same stoves? The look completely different is styles... one has 4 burners in the center the other has 2 and 2. One has chrome handles, one appears to have black handles and the clocks seem to be in different places along with the vents. The dog appears to be the same...

I'm sure you'll do just fine Steve. The real pain will be when the hair starts growing in and starts pricking (and itching) you! I had my gallbladder removed in August and the idiots shaved HALF my stomach! When I came too and saw that, I said "WTF? Why didn't they do the whole damn thing?" I...

    WO-65 Unimatic-----HELP!!!

Hi Jim I can ask my local appliance store that has been in biz for quite a while. Do you have a part number that I could ask them for? Or some other info I could use to tell them what is needed? I'd be more than happy to give them a yell and check. Laurent

    Laundry detergent foca

Foca Liquid I like to Foca liquid. I use it in my frontloader too. It foams up during the fill, but once everything settles in, the suds die down a lot. I too love the smell and it's darn cheap at $2 something for the bottle at Target. I only ever see powder at K-Mart and some of the off...

    Florida bans Gay marriage

I don't buy it. If you voted no on 8, you knew full well It hard to believe such a 'disconnect' can be present in a person. What do you mean 'you don't think someone vote for prop 8, but didn't want to discriminate against anyone...' WHAT?!! http://www.sacbee.com/111/story/1378391.html

    Florida bans Gay marriage

Church/Tax exempt How does one go about getting churches OFF of their tax exempt status?? If they can buy (and do!) tv ad time, donate to political causes, etc. they are no longer benign little houses of worship. The are a business now plane and simple, and must pay taxes like every business...

    Florida bans Gay marriage

Shane I have heard pretty much the same figures in local news etc regarding the voting on prop 8...it seems to confirm what I have been feeling...like I just had a big sh*t taken on me by the African American community... I'm miffed beyond words these last couple of days.
