    Calling Jason Surgilator_68!

The Cabrio/Bravos debate....this is sure to ruffle some feathers. Yes, I think it’s good for people who have normal dirt. I found that it would not get my greasy nasty work clothes clean. But it did OK on non work clothing and seemed to rinse OK too. It is not as hard on fabrics as the Calypso...

    Fixing Ratty Towels

I did that to my towels a few weeks ago before I switched over to the direct drive washer. I didn't want anyone saying that the washer was ruining my fabrics.

The door seal is supposed to have Microban or something like it to prevent the microorganisms from growing.

    Random shots at the warehouse

Technically no. But I would sell anything for the right price. That washer is truly like new. Not a speck of rust anywhere, on anything. It does have a brand new outer tub. There was one small spot where the porcelain failed so I just bought a new tub while it was still available. I may have...

The spider on a Speed Queen is replaceable as a separate part, just as the tub, bearings and seals. Line Dry: It doesn't mention the fact that the dryer will run for two, three or more hours depending on the load size. Sucking out all the heated or cooled air from your house at the same time...

The Black Lady is unmodified. The Black lady dryer is well, as Steve said, Frankenmore. The windowed door is from a Kitchenaid. At the time I built that dryer you could still get all the parts from WPL. A few years ago I tried to get the parts to build another one and everything was NLA.

Here are some random shots at the warehouse this weekend while John and Smitty were working on the stairs and lighting. Of course work was involved so I was nowhere to be found. http://www.jasons-place.com/whse1.html

    New Maytags Tall tubs advice

I know what they say. But in reality it does not work. I don't care how hot you get the water, that piece of chicken or whatever is still going to be there. Maybe a chunk of fish or mashed potato or some rice would dissolve but that is about it. Anytime you get a chance to pull the filter on...

    New Maytags Tall tubs advice

Oh, ok. you are talking about the regular old re-badged Wpl tall tubs, not the HE machine. It is just a Wpl tall tub but has a redesigned wash arm and some other tweaks.
