    Miele Wash Rinses

One rinse on the normal cycle is likely correct. The normal on my La Perla II, which if iirc, is of the same model line and has only one rinse as default. Thanks to member, nmassman, who posted the instructions to access the hidden menus several years ago. I was able to add an extra rinse and...

    Rinse Aid

Meijer also sells it, but that MI, OH, KY and TN. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I kind of miss Meijer. Lol

Andy, you can order the solid jet dry from Amazon.

    A BIG acquisition!

Launderess, It's there, lower right. The company for some odd reason didn't want the consumer to regularly access it. The manual didn't say anything about it. I knew what it was and checked regularly. Sad that the average American consumer would have a service call for something so simple.

    A BIG acquisition!

Great bargain for great machine. I had to give up mine for the move. I miss it very much, excellent cleaning. The American version was the Bosch Nexxt Premium, WFMC6400. Though I admit I was jealous of the range of temp options on the UK/EU version. My 2005 version maxed out at 155F.

    Laundress told us...

Called P&G this afternoon to ask about whether or not the new Tide CG contains OBA's. The customer service rep stated what I suspected, that it does indeed contain them and confirmed that the only product in their line up that doesn't is the Cheer powder. Not sure why they insist on OBA's in...

stacking different washer models is it possible?URGENT

Check with Frigidaire. But you should be able to do it. Especially since they're both Affinity series. The stack kits look quite generic. They consist of a front bracket and two clips that attach to the back of the washer. You slide the dryer back and then to the left, onto the clips to secure...

    Persil Color Gel - P-U!

That may help. I ended up using it as a prespotter, it's a very good detergent for that purpose and the scent didn't linger in those quantities.

    Persil Color Gel - P-U!

I'm a huge fan of the powders, but the liquids, not so much. You're right, they're strongly scented. Ok, they stink. They scent stays in the washing too. I've put sheets away for the season and they still smell when used again. That and and it morphs into something almost off- mildewy, or something.

    Advice on a new disposer

I was looking at an Evolution as well. It looks like a decent one too. Thanks to Wes though, I have the Viking, which was the last disposer based on the old Hobsrt tech.

    Advice on a new disposer

Follow up on disposer... Following up on the Viking disposer volsboy1 sold me. It's finally installed! I wanted to wait for the new sink and counters to be installed first. It was worth the wait. Now this is a garbage disposer! I haven't had a chance to put any bones in it yet, but, I have...

Do you use a Rinse Aid?

Rinse aid, yes. Helps dishes dry better, especially true when I had a Bosch dw. Having moved from a hard water area to the mountains, where water is as soft as mechanically softened water. I would caution you against using tabs, it's just too much soap. I had suds issues with every tab I've...

    Persil questions

My last pack of Universal Megaperls stated on the bottom "20, 40, 60, 90" as temp options, same as Universal powder. The colour version states "20, 40, 60". HTH, Todd

    Polyester (1981)

Polyester and Pink Flamingos are my two favourite John Waters' films. I miss Divine, she was great, made Hairspray the success it was. The remake was quite boring in comparison. Hmmm, I see a movie marathon in my near future!

Lol! Kieran isn't included. He's a great kitty.

    Best Ironing Board?

I've had a Brabantia for about ten years now. Best ironing board I've ever used. It's very sturdy has lots of vents on the surface. The pad is very absorbent and doesn't hold moisture. I'm a sewer, so that's important. It's great for pressing yardage because of its 18" width. They still make...

Please Accept My Appologies For Yesterday's Down Time

Thank you Robert, for your tireless work on this website. You make it a very comfortable place to visit, several times a day. There is no need to apologise for the issue, it was beyond your control. I also don't feel there is any need for you to add any time to my upgraded status. But thank you...

Detergent Stash: Ushering In The New Era

Frigilux, Have you tried the OxiClean detergent pods? They're a powder that is scented like many of their other products, which is relatively light and innocuous. They seem to work quite well, better than their A&H cousins anyway. I've tried many of the pods, but in our soft, mountain water...

    Indesit brochure

Thank you for posting! We had the 1978 version of that dishwasher when we lived in Essex during the late seventies. It was a fine performer. Better than the GE mobile maid we left in the US.i still remember scouring the shops for Bio Finish, to no avail. Lol

My Step Mom bought me a new $$ dishwasher

Dishwasher salt isn't that easy to come by in the US, it's still considered a specialty item. Most dishwashers here don't have a water softener. Easiest place is Amazon to purchase it. Miele vac dealers and some appliance stores carry it.
