    Whirlpool dishwasher motors update

I wish I could say it has gotten better but it's only gotten worse.

    Whirlpool dishwasher motors update

I'd kill to have that dishwasher, along with a matching GE filter-flo 2-speed electric pair with ramped activator again.

    Worst *New* dishwasher available?

My vote goes to... Whirlpool! Puny pumps that mist your dishes and take 2-3 hours, flimsy design, and don't get me started with the stupid alternating wash arms.

    Whirlpool's new dishwasher motors

I agree 100%. Today's dishwashers are an insult.

    Whirlpool's new dishwasher motors

I want my dishes done properly. And I can't stand these puny tine stupid weak pumps! Mine just went out in addition to the heater!

    Whirlpool's new dishwasher motors

Most consumers want their dishes cleaned properly in a reasonable amount of time.

    Whirlpool's new dishwasher motors

I can guarantee you Whirlpool's own models don't use the dual power motor. I'd take the Maytag. It's too bad they alternate wash zones. What people fail to realize is that it takes 2 hours plus on average to do a normal cycle.

    Whirlpool's new dishwasher motors

And they're stil doing it! It's only gonna get worse!

    Whirlpool's new dishwasher motors

I have a post regarding the updated motors, and to my dismay they're still the same, if not worse.

    Whirlpool's new dishwasher motors

I wish these new dishwashers still have 3450 rpm motors in them.

    Whirlpool dishwasher motors update

If size isn't the issue, why are many consumers still complaining about the time it takes? Also, Today's Maytag dishwashers revert to that stupid alternating wash zone crap. I want all arms operating at once. The ones Whirlpool and everybody else use are just glorified pond pumps. Mine has been...

    Whirlpool dishwasher motors update

The machine does get enough water. It is the type of pumps they use. No wonder why today's dishwashers take 2-3 hours.

    Whirlpool's new dishwasher motors

I wish I could say it could get better, but they're getting worse. I suspect all Whirlpool dishwashers use these puny and weak pumps. Don't even try to wash a load you just had blueberry pancakes, shrimp alfredo casserole, or cheese enchiladas in a day, let alone a week. Not even Cascade or...

    Whirlpool's new dishwasher motors

That's my beef with these things. When the point voyager came out, they kept the real recirculation wash motor. I hate when manufacturers do that stupid crap. My biggest concern is that it would only get worse. We already saw what GE did. Whirlpool is still doing it.

    Whirlpool's new dishwasher motors

Shameful that inverter pumps are being used on some models.

    Whirlpool's new dishwasher motors

It still happens today, maybe even worse.

has anyone seen the new maytags models seem direct drive motors are making a comeback

I wish dishwashers would do the same. I have a post on the whirlpool dishwasher pump updates. Needless to say, I hate the puny pumps they're using. They sound like toys. Their sprays are weak to begin with.

    Whirlpool dishwasher motors update

At least all arms operated at once. That's something I wish these Whirlpool units would go back to again. And they had a real motor to greet you.

    Whirlpool dishwasher motors update

What do you mean broken? Even if working properly, many consumers are sick and tired of the 2-3 hour cycles and the poor performance, due to the weak water pressure these pumps use. Older dishwashers just plain worked. no messing around. Where's phillymatt?

    Whirlpool dishwasher motors update

I bet these pumps just last up to a year. These have way too little power to move anything off of crusty plates and dirty bowls. I was shocked when I ran my dad's dishwasher with the door open when the upper rack was running, and I was surely disappointed. The spray was so weak you couldn't wet...
