Bought The Wrong Vacuum Cleaner Filter

I agree At least for the money, they were very hard to pass up on like my MC-UG583 for example. Such a shame they weren't all that too popular. Vacuum shops favored the more expensive options such as Riccar or Miele (which I do like) but I'm more frugal just like my buddy when he owned a vacuum...

Bought The Wrong Vacuum Cleaner Filter

Panasonic (my all time favorite company) was the manufacturer of this vacuum cleaner so the correct filter number is MC-V199H aka Kenmore EF-1. They also take Panasonic type U-2 bags but any U bag from Panasonic should work, I prefer the ones like U-6 where you can seal up the bag when you empty...

Speed Queen TC5 Anniversary and sudsing issue.

I had a similar problem on my LG front loader so I simply took an old worn out rag I was going to throw away anyways and sealed up the drain pipe. I was worried at first cause I thought it'd have a hard time draining with no airflow but haven't had any issues since then.

    Speed Queen TR washers

What does the wash action of the Calypso look like? I'm curious to see for myself.

    Speed Queen TR washers

I second with Bob My house isn't going back to another top loader either. In fact I once lived at a place where I had a Whirlpool Duet and two SQ AWN412SP111TW01 side by side. Every single time switching back and forth, the Whirlpool always did a better job even on stains that's a fact. Still...

Tide "Free and Gentle" Powder Returns!

Yes! So glad to see the powder market is still having demand, I think this will be my next detergent to get.

    The Defense of the Model-T

I loved mine I think they were in my opinion the best top loaders GE has ever sold especially coming from someone who also owned a Filter-Flo.

The GE HydroWave: One of the worst washers ever

Give this a rest already That person likely created a new thread defending the Hydrowaves and T series in response to your other thread being against them. It makes no sense creating another thread discussing the same topic all over again. We get you and some users don't like them and that's...

What is the best residential Whirlpool VMW to buy?

Second with John Makes absolutely no sense still sticking with top loaders these days. And the VMW machines are bad enough where I cannot buy one at all especially the one sold through Lowe's, I'd even take an LG top loader if I must.

What is the best modern washer to buy (outside Speed Queen)?

LG That's the ONLY new washer I'd buy these days is an LG front loader. My local technician recommended them and don't have any regrets since owning one.

    Speed Queen TR washers

I like them I've used one before and surprisingly cleaned really well, still would take a classic model but I was satisfied. I do however agree they're expensive but nothing wrong with buying one on the used market.

What did you think of the F&P style whirlpool washers

If I ever owned a HE top loader, I would've bought a blue/silver Kenmore Oasis. Just thought they were cool looking machines when I first laid my eyes on one.

The GE HydroWave: What did you think of them?

I'd certainly take a Hydrowave over anything that GE sells today (minus the front loaders) or even a SQ TR series. And recently on another thread from users bashing on the T models, now that makes me want one even more if I were to get a basement set for my next house.

    Maytag Neptune Set

Such a nice set! I would've liked these more than the touchscreen set I had because I think they added more reliability to the control panel. Although mine never had any issues.

    Cooking with gas burners

I haven't had any issues. Despite their drawbacks, I'd still buy a gas stove over electric. Actually if I could, for my next place I'd have everything inside be gas except for the oven. My last cabin had a Wolf gas oven and I didn't think it was worth the extra. Everything else like the dryer...

    Repairing more washing machines

Yeah I really don't think it's necessary to keep creating new threads on machines you'd get in for repair each day, rather it's more appropriate to post new replies on the original thread instead. That'd be my advice.

    Commercial dishwashers for residential use?

Bringing this thread back because I had an opportunity to try one of these out just tonight. It appears to be the same model that my friend Owen has. I used it to wash a few dishes that weren't pre-rinsed just to play around with it, I was very impressed!

    Whirlpool washer quality

I had interest in the Maytag Commercial at one point, thanks to Lorain Furniture's review video. After hearing and seeing so many problems those machines had, since decided against it. My brother had a Maytag, didn't even last 5 years so it just recently got replaced by an LG front loader which...

What contributed to the end of Mayag?

I agree that the Neptunes were great machines. I had the ones with the touch screen like this set (dryer was a bit taller and it was gas). Mine unfortunately didn't last for very long but if I had gotten my set fixed, I would've likely still had them today. My grandfather also had one as well...
