I have 2 favorites actually..I really like Cheer,original scent powder. Also, I ordered Oxydol with Bleach powder off the internet and must say It smells great and cleans quite well. Favorite vintage detgergent is Classic Tide from the 70's and 80's and Oxydol..

For me I much prefer to use plain old Cascade Powder,Lemon Scent in my Bosch Dishwasher. My hubby on the other hand much prefers Cascade/Dawn..Gelpacs. Since I am the one who does the shopping,I won out!

How sad was I to learn the sassy and fabulous Ann Richards has died. This lady was a great governor and amazing friend to Texas..She died peacfully at her home in Austin after a 7 month battle with cancer of the esophagus. Rest in Peace.....

Classic Top Job Why do these companies mess with a good thing? The original Top Job with ammonia was fabulous on floors! I would love to get my hands on this wonderful all purpose cleaner. The Top Job found in dollar store is not the same!,awful scent too!!

I recently placed an online order of the fabulous classic detergent, Oxydol.( 4 -100oz boxes for 23.00) I can't find it here at all in stores here in Florida. Has anyone seen it in their local supermarket?..This is one great detergent. I sure hope it still has the same great scent! ~Thanks

Does anyone care to share their favorite Vintage Laundry Detergents? Mine is Cold Power and the original formula of Cheer, back when the powder was blue! I miss the old scents, everything now is too over the top and fragranced. Right now I am using Tide Powder, original scent. It cleans awesome!

Oxydol Oxydol is a great powder. You are lucky they sell it where you live. add with a 1/2 cup of mule 20 borax and bluette bluing in your rinse and your whites will SPARKLE!
