GE Monogram DW - Is it getting enough water?

Follow-up It's maybe 9 years old? I don't believe the last DW had this issue. It was not always this way with this machine. Been getting worse, of late.

GE Monogram DW - Is it getting enough water?

Wash Water I waited until the soap opened - water temp was still about 100.

GE Monogram DW - Is it getting enough water?

Water Temp I've got an old school non-digital thermometer I use to test meat on the grill. When I run the hot water I'm getting 135 - 140. I started the DW on a rinse cycle and the first fill water in the tub was at about 100.

GE Monogram DW - Is it getting enough water?

Hey everyone, I'm wondering if you all have any suggestions? I have a GE/Monogram DW model ZDT870SSF0SS. There's nothing blocking the soap dispenser, the filters are all clean and I run the hot water before I start the machine and the soap never completely dissolves. I either find part of a...

    Worth saving?

Next steps! Thanks for the insight, John. I'm not sure what my buyers are planning to do with the kitchen. I believe their budget will keep it in place for the short term. Yes, the wall oven is oddly high up. You can see the gap in the cabinet below where the old one must have rested. Poor...

    Worth saving?

Hi there! I've got buyers a couple of weeks away from closing on a great old home here in Peekskill. There's a GE dishwasher in the kitchen and we don't know the last time it was used. We didn't fuss with it during the inspection. I realize this isn't the best photo. Does anyone recognize the...

Waste King Universal / Dishwasher Dryer

Hey Everyone! I'm a Realtor here in Westchester County, NY and was showing a home built in 1963 and it had what (correct me if I'm wrong) might be an original to the home Waste King Universal Dishwasher. Interesting to note that the panel calls it a "Dishwasher/Dryer". I thought you all might...

    Hunting for a childhood dessert

My best friend is trying to remember the brand/type of a frozen round chocolate layer cake he had as a kid of the 70's. He's remembering a round layer cake with white cream frosting, cream peaks on the top of the cake with a chocolate drizzle. Not sure if this was Sara Lee, Pepperidge Farm -- or...

    Upstairs/Downstairs

Thanks for the well wishes! Perfect choice for the second floor. The Maytag used to be heard all over the house - the SQ is MUCH quieter. You can just feel the quality in the build of these machines. Mike (MTN1984) - they came from Atlantic. I've been using them for almost 20 years now.
