Uk Members Please recommend good Powder detergent

I’m like in the same boat thinking about choosing a biological bleach containing powder that actually properly cleans and removes even tough stains and whitens well first time without pretreating or pre washing or having to rewash and that also rinses out fairly easily. I also am thinking of...

    Chlorine Bleach

My views I do like using chlorine bleach when cleaning especially the bathrooms and bath tubs and around the toilets as well as bleaching whites but when I use it at times I end up getting bleach spots and discolouration due to bleach spots on my clothes which is a bit scary. I think I need to...

My UK (please note locals) Hotpoint Washer/Dryer is on the fritz…

Or this Beko Beko are not bad machines for what they are, they are certainly better than any Indesit/Hotpoint and Hoover/Candy machine. https://ao.com/product/wey106052w-beko-washing-machine-white-85020-1.aspx

My UK (please note locals) Hotpoint Washer/Dryer is on the fritz…

strictlybojack If I were you I would get a similar priced Bosch machine instead of AEG. AEG are not good at all for the money they cost. The bearings tend to go prematurely like in a short space of time. Someone I know who had the AEG 8000 his machine smoked like mad when at full 1600rpm. They...

    Worst washing machines

For me the worst washing machine is the Indesit Moon and the newer Hoovers and Candys as the brushed ones have a whiny motor that is noisy as hell and the paddles are pretty much non existant. They don't heat up properly, they only heat to 55*C which is pretty shocking and horrific for what is...

Candy washer - without a control panel

I think I'm going to be sick... That Candy looks a rip off of the Indesit Moon with their only being a button and it looks absolutely hideous. Wonder how many cycles it has? It's a gimmicky fake

My new washer - A week full of disappointment!

Miele W1 and error codes glitchy programming Sorry for my negativity but the latest Miele W1s have unreliable electronics with their constant F20 error codes prematurely, glitchy programming. If I was paying a really high price (a grand) for a brand new washing machine I would hate it if the...

Interesting Report On Miele's "Power Wash" Cycles

Another benefit of the miele powerwash cycle If 60*C is selected thanks to the powerful heater it heats to 60*C in no time and spends quite a fair amount of time at 60*C which means its also good for a load of towels Janak

Here is one of a small load of darks on easy care 40*C speed with 1 skip capsule. The rinse level was medium and it was doing 3 rinses. I didn't do the...
