John! In the manuals and literature is the instruction booklet for the Kenmmore central vacuum. It gives a great rundown of how the system works and how to unclog it if needed. IT also talks about how to empyty it and then letting it refill to get suction. Kinda fun! Greg

The last Sears store in Washington is closing Dec 15. It's located in the Southcenter mall which is just south of Seattle. It is one of the last 9 operating Sears left open in the US. Article in the Seattle Times does not go on to say where the remaining open stores are. Interesting! Greg
My grandmother always lined hers with old newspaper. When I had a range with a drawer, I always lined it with shelf liner. It could be taken out a wiped or washed down. Greg
What a time capsule! Shagalicious! Corning range? For sure Filtex vacuum system --the type of wall valves gives that away. Too many updates to make it a today house! Worried about the ceilings!
One of the oddities of the kitchen is the addition of a hood over the GE stove. It's built right above the sliding door cabinet that hangs over the cooktop. Can't imagine it having much effect! And talk about greasy! Greg
I replaced every light bulb in my apartment with LED's. It's now been over 5 years and I've seen zero instances of the bulbs getting dimmer. Zero. It has also made a great difference in my electric bill. The bill has gone down over 25%! Greg
