Mine has a pressure switch.

Part of the problem is I do not have water at my new space yet. So it is a pain to test machines. But I will soon, it the mean time, it agitates and spins, my guess is that gunk is preventing the pressure switch from being satisfied?

It is a reversing motor. It agitates when the belt is manually turned, so I am assuming that the pressure switch or something else is preventing it from going into agitation.

No lid lock, just a switch.

I don't think it leaks either.

Thanks, I was wondering what that chamber was. I will look at it. I also got the knobs from a speed Queen set that are similar, but not a solid tub. Did SQ make solid tubs and perforated ones at the same time?

controls, light wants to come on but doesn't quite get there.

Don't find as much vintage as I used to. Nice machine, sounds great. If no one wants it whole, I will part it out. So if you need anything let me know.
