replaced the cord and outlet. the wires in the wall look and feel fine. so installed the outlet and cord test ran the dryer and all seems fine. thanks so much for all the advice. this was the first time i had this happen. just wanted to make sure

well that little flap thing is what was the prob. the lever to re attach it is totally gone but thats ok its on the spin side. got it all back together but now the lever for the drain on the wash side is binding up but you can still close it to fill the tub and it will open half way to drain...
ill let the sealer dry on the pump till tomorrow. then ill try to get it back in again. guess we will see.. anything else breaks im done. and i will never never never take that pump out again.
the even worse news is the drain hose from the wash side was still soft and was able to get that off. the hose from the spin side is hard and almost an inch of it broke off right where it attaches to the pump. im not sure if i can strech it enough to re attach it but will try.. if this fails i...
