replaced the cord and outlet. the wires in the wall look and feel fine. so installed the outlet and cord test ran the dryer and all seems fine. thanks so much for all the advice. this was the first time i had this happen. just wanted to make sure

thanks for the info. i had the back cover off by the timer all looks and feels good in there. took the front off was a little dusty but all the wires look and feel great no burn marks or discoloration on anything in there. the only odd thing was when i yanked the plug out of the wall it was...

last week while doing laundry i kinda smelled something kind of burning in the wash room but could not find it. knew it wasnt the washer and the dryer was running but the cabinet felt cool to the touch and was running fine. so today i started the dryer and about 10 min in i really smelled...

have had this machine for almost twenty years and besides bellows its been a trooper.... but seems we have a split tub support now. wo65 now the hunt is on for a support ..

im not sure what causes that either. i have seen it too and always just cleaned it up. i have read it can be caused by a loose connection.

well that little flap thing is what was the prob. the lever to re attach it is totally gone but thats ok its on the spin side. got it all back together but now the lever for the drain on the wash side is binding up but you can still close it to fill the tub and it will open half way to drain...

ill let the sealer dry on the pump till tomorrow. then ill try to get it back in again. guess we will see.. anything else breaks im done. and i will never never never take that pump out again.

the even worse news is the drain hose from the wash side was still soft and was able to get that off. the hose from the spin side is hard and almost an inch of it broke off right where it attaches to the pump. im not sure if i can strech it enough to re attach it but will try.. if this fails i...

the nub thing that held the flap on rotted away. the one from the wash side is still there and kinda close behind have no idea how long that will last
