Wattage outside of USA For some reason the wattage outside of America is a lot higher. 1800 watts is pretty high here (I think, it's the highest wattage iron I've ever owned). What are the benefits of say, 3000 watts vs. 1800 watts?

Switch it up I use both powder and liquid (not in the same wash...although now that I think about it, that could be an experiment), and also use different brands (though I have my favorites).

Funny how things are different all over the world I wouldn't think of concealing my appliances especially if they look pretty or smart.

Thanks for the info. I didn't know it was a smaller machine, no wonder it can spin at 2000 RPM. I think I also read it's a 220v electrical hook up instead of the normal (American) 120v.
