Many thanks Paul for all the wonderful pictures and comments, much appreciated. I guess 59GNS doesn't seem much in todays terms, but just did a quick conversion and it's actually nearly £1000 in todays money, so still quite expensive even back then. I guess it's a relatively slow spin speed...

Thank you very much for that link very interesting to see the actual machine. I really liked the stainless steel inner drum and the circular patterns at the back, looks as though a large amount of the outer drum was visible at the front, not sure if it was manufactured that way or the drum boot...

Seen this advertisement quite a few times now and just wondered if anyone has the 20 page booklet that they mention to send off for? Would love to read it. I assume that there isn't one of these machines saved? I think from some other discussions that it's made in Italy and possibly also badged...

fascinating Mike, so likelihood is then it filled the outer tub, heated the water and then pumped this into the tub for the wash action to start. I guess a bit like the Parnell I assume?

thanks Mike so I guess it was continually overflowing and recycling the heated water in the base to the tub?

Heating the water in the Jetamatic I'm curious to know how the water was heated in the Jetamatic, it mentions 'overflow rinse' so I assume that it's a solid wash tub? In that case did it heat it's water in the base of the machine and then pump it to the tub later?

Hi Nick Yes they’re rare, looking at the date on the brochure I have your machine could be 44 years old. Bearing in mind how few households had a dishwasher 44 years ago in the UK, probably you have one of the last few. Enjoy it and preserve it if you can. Cheers Alan

Well done James The cabinet looks amazing. I’ve always been fascinated by the clutch and gear arrangement on these machines, such a change to the 3224 and 3226 machines. Would be great to understand this more, is your mechanism all good, or do you have to overhaul? Regards Alan
