    Removing agitator

    Bit of a novice here: We have a Whirlpool "thin twin", and it's not getting all the lint out properly. I think the filter(s) may be dirty or clogged, and understand they can be located at the bottom of the agitator. How do I remove the agitator? Thanks

    Pause after wash/rinse

    I've always been curious as to why some manufacturers choose to pause and drain before a spin, and others just spin and drain. Is one method better?

    I don't think so, the only thing in the barrel is the fabric softner tank, then under that is nothing. Thanks

    I moved into a loft with a 2003 Whirlpool thin twin washer. I was just curious as to how the automatic lint filter works.
