Oh no, not Salad Cream... Even the smell of that makes me retch.

I don't see why people buy the brand myself, we have a Beko washer but that's the landlords and the only reason I put up with its super long washes. I guess some people just have a burning love for Bekos.

£30 seems like an incredibly good buy for that Miele. I've only seen one of them before but they seem to be very sturdy machines which I wouldn't be surprised to see still running in 50 years time. I'm not sure but when new they must have been in the thousands to purchase?

I like the Enrituals softeners that match with the liquid detergents and usually just use them. When I don't though, I use Tesco Value softener. Such a bargain at 90P for a massive bottle.

What do you think is better ? I personally like liquid because in my experience the clothes come out more fragranced and softer, plus there is no drawer cleaning that I hate so much.

My mother still line dries when possible (not bloody often here in rainy Scotland) but when I get a place of my own some day I'll buy a dryer and everything will go from the washer into it to dry. No worrying about it raining or any of that, just let the dryer fluff them up and out they come...
