Colour Care Powder - Soon to be gone?

Colour powder I have noticed this too. I tend to use powders rather than liquids because I like to pre wash generally. Ariel is out the question for me... I find the smell of both colour and normal disgusting...such a shame as it used to be really fresh!. Persil colour only comes in the 23 wash...

    Siemans

Thanks Henene4 Eco cycle makes sense! They should, however make that clear in the features on the John Lewis site. Reading that would put me right off straight away otherwise! My Miele 5964 takes 2.59 on a 8kg cottons wash, or 1.59 on short, which I find acceptable...I have a Siemans dryer...

What is everyone's favorite laundry detergent?

Liamy Both the new and old smelling Ariel is dreadful to me! Not to be too crude, it reminds me of when I pass the laundry room smell in my aunts care home!. Persil is the best I use persil and always will have done.. If something does the job, why change it! unlike Ariel, when the clothes are drying, it smells fresh and clean- not musty...Ariel of old had a clean smell, although I always used Persil, most people I know have now changed to Persil...

    Tide HE detergent UK

I have to agree, Ariel has a dreadful stench to it... when I think back years ago, it smelt so fresh, as did Daz...now both smell the same -dreadful.So I shall stick with Persil..although not as nice as from the old days, its acceptable. Oh and it cleans just as well!

I replaced my Bosch dishwasher with a Miele G5500, which...
