What kind of coffee do you drink?

I'm with you! Eigh O'clock coffe on my Sunbeam C50 Coffeemaster! Though I do enjoy the regular red bagged Eight O'clock coffee, my favorite is the Hazelnut with the French Vanilla a close second. I use a vintage grinder that was produced in France. The brand name is Moulinex. Ever since I...

    Strange Vacuum to See

That it is a very neat vacuum. I would be tempted to bid on it but shipping from the UK is a pain, more because of the price not the actual process.

Who Said, "Don't Get Me Started On Cordless Phones?"

I still have my 1996 Panasonic 900 Mhz cordless phone and just now had to replace the battery which was about $11. I highly recommend Panasonic which is what I've been able to convert three of my friends to and they all love their phones.

Article on used appliances in Japan

How terrible. Think of all the history that will be lost. Seriously, older appliances, no matter what they kind, are a piece of history. In fact, the appliances themselves have their own history.

Yay! I'm so happy for you and your lions!! What a happy ending. Maybe a couple of people took them to use for their house or something. I suppose a couple of people with a truck could have done it.

    Re: First Family Color TV:

Ours was a 1975 Admiral Solid State console. It was bought before I was born, so I couldn't tell any of you what the first show was, but I can tell you that I still use the television to this day.
