@glenfieldmathk1 It has the smooth drum, just two wavey paddles, one at the rear of the drum and one at the front, as i said before, they lift the washing really well. I will indeed be uploading some pics as soon as possible. I need to get a longer vent hose today as the one supplied only *just*...

Just finishing the first load now. A load of darks, put in on cottons sensor dry. Initial length of 2hr20 soon dropped down to just under 1hr. The drum really lifts the clothes, it reminds me of a commercial tumble dryer. Not too noisy either, so far-so good.

Our search for a new dryer ended up on the backburner for a couple of weeks for various reasons but today i've ordered it, it's being delivered tomorrow...i've attached the link to it so you guys can check it out and when i get the chance i will post some pics and a review of the real thing...

The glass in the door would be a bonus, it also needs to be a vented dryer. I've used a condenser before and even a Miele condenser left me less than impressed when it comes to drying times.

We have a silver LG True Steam washing machine, i looked at the matching dryers but they all seem to be condenser models and we need a vented, if the washer and dryer were going to be placed together then i would definitely look into them matching but the dryer will be in another room.

Hi Seamus, The Miele dryer (and washer) are at my parents house. I moved to London 6 months ago so although the washer and dryer were brilliant machines, i've had to start the collection again from scratch

Thanks AquaCycle, I've used one of the Indesit dryers before and was pretty impressed with it. I'd be happy to have one but we want something that looks smart and has some features hence why we've been looking at the Hotpoints

Duvet wash... The duvet wash went well, it finished around 10 last night and by this morning the duvet was perfectly dry. It seemed to struggle with the spins though, it would drain and tumble and then the pump would cut out, the machine would start to tumble and not even get a full turn in...

I can't stop playing with it, i'm washing and steaming anything i can find!

It would only allow a maximum of 1000rpm spin, once the cycle is complete i'll run it through a 1400rpm spin to get the last bits of moisture out to help the drying.....

Duvet wash selected, 40c, i started the wash and realised i'd forgotten to add steam so paused, selected steam, and continued the cycle...

So i've just started a duvet wash....
