My Miele w562 has the brushless motor I think, so when it washes you just hear the clothes tumbling and a very faint buzz unlike the more older Mieles (Hydromatic series). On spin it tries to do the fast paced chugging sound but fails, and you get the loud knocking sound of the shock absorbers...
