Which LG Models use a DC pump?

simple LG's I purchased a set of 3500's about a year ago. I couldn't be happier with them. No steam, turbowash, or other bells and whistles. Huge capacity and still has lots of cycles and options. Member Lorainfurniture has posted a review of the 3500 washer on Youtube and it convinced me to...

HELP: Narrow New Washers Not Compact?

way to save space This might be another option for you. In one house, we opened up the space between 2 studs and brought the water and drain pipes up from the basement. There was plenty of room for the hoses too. The dryer (Maytag DE806) had a vent out of the side that exited through the...

    Steam option on new washers

Covid-19 Is steam really necessary to kill covid-19? Everyday we are told to merely wash our hands with regular soap for 20 seconds to kill the virus. Maybe if you are a health care worker literally covered with the virus at the end of the day, the steam option might make you feel safer.

    Steam option on new washers

I bought a new LG 3500 last year after much research and shopping around. I always thought the steam option was just a gimmick. I think the detergent, wash water temperature and wash action factor in more on the washing ability than spraying some steam on the wet laundry. I just received the...

    Osterizer Help

One more thing I also have my mother's 1960's top of the line Galaxie "cyclomatic" with timer. It has a 800 watt motor. I don't notice any difference in performance vs the 375 motor. In fact, it seems to be somewhat slower, but I've always attributed that to being almost 60 years old.

    Osterizer Help

crushing ice I've owned and used Oster blenders my whole life. I have to admit I have no experience with the ice crusher blade. I do own the Oster ice crusher attachment that sits on top of the blender in place of the jar. I shoots the crushed ice into a bowl while you feed the ice into the...

    Coppertone Maytag

reply #2 Dave, On the regular cycle, I think that you will find that the three temperature buttons select cold or warm wash with a cold rinse, hot wash with a warm rinse. The speed buttons select regular wash action with fast spin or gentle wash action with slow speed. When you use the...

Why does my LG washer fill with cold water and hot when set to HOT

LG mixed fill I have a LG 3500 front load machine, also a "basic" machine. It also starts filling with cold and then switches to warm or hot. After watching a few loads, I realized what was happening is that is always flushes out the dispensers with cold water regardless of the wash water...

    Choosing an energy star washer

LG front loader I have had the 3500 washer for a year now and am extremely pleased with it. It holds more laundry than your direct drive top loader and is more gentle with it. You can see Lorain Furniture's review of it on Youtube.

    New Dryers

dry time I have a LG 3500 dryer and do not find the drying times to be long at all. If I wash a load using the towels cycle (1300 rpm spin), I was the towels cycle on the dryer. For some reason it selects medium temperature and initially displays 58 minutes for the dry time. I usually select...

Maytag Highlander Suds Saver washer for sale $20

suds return How do you get the wash water back into the machine? All the non-timed fill Maytags I have known have a "suds return" setting on the dial right before the beginning of the wash portion of the cycle. I see the "drain suds" and "save suds" buttons on the machine - I assume they work...

Some of my Electricity is Out!

Anti-Walk/ Anti-Slip feet for washer on concrete/ polyspartic floor

LG anti-slip squares I don't know what these are called, but they came with my LG front loader. They have a peel-off back and stick to the floor under the front feet. The machine hasn't moved in 6 months, unlike my previous machine (top loader). I know Loraine Furniture has tested a number...

    Maytag dishwasher

Maytag Dishwasher I have wanted a reverse rack since my family owned one about 40 years ago. I know this is a long shot, but I thought I'd ask anyway. Is there anyone near this machine that is planning to travel east? I live in Massachusetts and would be willing to pay your expenses and put...

2nd washer for King Size Comforter

2nd washer for King Size Comforter

nmassman44 review As I said in my earlier post, I have the LG3500 and have been extremely happy with it. I can't say it has ever tangled pants and sleeves like you report, but the 3500 does have the 6 motion technology - I guess that it really does help in that respect. You said your towels...
