Ahhh ok! I don't know what to look for on the control panels, etc. I didn't know that a smaller capacity Maytag would only have 3 settings. Thanks for pointing that out! I just love the older washers and appliances. Especially the pastel colored ones with the lights, etc.

Ohhh ok! I'm still brand new here and learning. I thought that older washers (pre-1985) were usually belt drive (BD) and had the longer strokes. While the newer washers (1986-) were direct drive (DD) and had the faster short strokes. I didn't know that Maytag had their own kind of washer set-up...
