    can find bayonnet bulbs... check out in your area an electrical supply store. When the bulb went out on our dryer that was the place I found had one that fit :)

    adjustable water level... love the mechanical controls and would LOVE the option of choosing how much water one can use for a load, to be able to run a small load with enough water but not pre-set, wish more had such a feature today

    Energy Saver, lol.... unheated dry :) though I hear in Japan you can now buy one that will dry you (for LOTS of $$$$, it's a Toto I think)

    lighted...dial they sure look like they could be lighted (the console has a slightly blue-ish cast to it, unlike some that are just pure white, but that could be the lighting from the picture?), I didn't think WP used that control dial set-up so long in production - is the same dial as our '62...

    spin speed seems faster... from what I recall other members stating that own one, yes it is. IIRC spin speed is 800 rpm! to help the matching dryer be capable of drying a load in a reasonable timeframe - enjoy your little gem, sounds like you are having fun with it

I thought I was the only one that did that! lol, I liked doing that because of the way the first would start the spin cycle, the second...the third... my favorite laundromat memory from childhood - an all FRIGIDAIRE laundromat in West Beach Haven, NJ summer...

    what about?... An Admiral from Home Depot? It just went back to regular price of $329 but just over 1 wk ago it was only $259 SHIPPG included! Even at this price it is a good machine, one that we are seriously considerg when our FL sh _ ts the sheets (soon?)...just a friendly suggestion for ya'
