Great finds! I really like that orange convertible. Very pretty. Looks like it will look amazing when it's all cleaned up! The Eureka is really neat too. We've been getting a lot of old Eurekas in the shop lately. They're often filthy. I really think that people are pulling their old Hoovers...

I am a Dial-a-Matic lover! The dial-a-matic was very revolutionary. It also had it's flaws. I forgive these flaws, because it was a very different type of vacuum. The idea was dead-on. They clean great. Everytime I use one of mine I am always impressed!

Does anyone know if it is quieter than the Hoover dial-a-matic???? I'd love to hear one run. Which would you people (who have used them) say is the superior machine? Does it fix a lot of the bugs the dial-a-matic had????

I use a tristar... as my bench vacuum. Strong suction on those babies.

I have a feeling.... That vacuum is going to sell for a fortune. That is a very rare vacuum cleaner. I am very curious to hear how it sounds, and if it cleans or pushes better than a Hoover dial-a-matic. Wow what a fascinating vacuum!

She's pretty loud.... especially compared to other Riccars. But it has a very distinct sound that I like. The noise level is like a Hoover Concept I guess...only less ugly. It is not a quiet vacuum. But we've never had a customer complain about it being a loud vacuum either.

True True... Well the older radiances had a very pinched passage after the fan. I mean it was worse than an orecks. Buuuut riccar fixed that and made it much larger in the later versions. I wouldn't dare pick up a toothpick in a radiance though....
