    Micro/Thermal Ranges

Just saw a Litton micro-thermal for sale tonight.     The Sanders Hardware store in Early, IA had two of these Litton Ranges NIB.  One was a coil-top and one ceramic top.  ...

Maytag A105 - NEW IN BOX!

I found one of these a few years ago on CL for $75 in exceptional condition.  I hadn't used a standard capacity Orbital Maytag so brought it home to play with for a while.  I was pretty impressed with it overall, not fancy but perfectly satisfactory performance.  Maytag agitators worked...

    Thrift store percolator

Nice find - good to see them still out there in the wild.  I've found a couple of these faceted models over the years, one of the prettiest of the Universal pots.   Can you post a pic of the bottom of your pot?  Not sure what would be loose, but perhaps we can compare them and figure it...

Vintage RCA/Whirlpool "Super Wash" Washer & Westinghouse Dryer

A good era for Whirlpool style.  Chrome, angled panel with strong horizontal lines.  Lots of sparkle for the money.   I brought home a WP washer and WH dryer set this last spring.  Have done little with the washer but have spent a day or so working on the dryer.  It's a (s)low-airflow...

Kenmore Washer & Dryer $50 Hillsboro MO

Literature also has a 70(?) KM washer.  I liked the dark baskets on the lower end models.

POD 8-16-23 APEX Automatic Washer with Spiral Dasher

Down the AW memory hole, there are a couple of threads about these washers --   https://www.automaticwasher.org/cgi-bin/TD/TD-VIEWTHREAD.cgi?29279   https://www.automaticwasher.org/cgi-bin/TD/TD-VIEWTHREAD.cgi?78374

Overpriced harvest gold Westy range and Amana dishwasher

I've been with Amanda 6000, a few times, she lived with friends, early 90's.   They had a whole kitchen-full of almond Amandas.

    Vintage Bendix Automatic Washer

Hope you are able to get this little guy, Mark.  It looks like it's in decent shape, at least very clean.

GE (Speed Queen) top load washer

Spot them by the lower panel...   The Amana branded models had a light gray lower panel on both washer and dryer, actually was attractive with gray accent on the control panel.   Saw them sold under Maytag, Amana, GE (not sure what contractual obligation GE stumbled into to get these)  They...

Almost a Bob-Load - Challenging the 66 Frigidaire Custom Imperial dishwasher

Good use of the top rack, those side rails are a bit dangerous for smaller items.  This baby looks mint, nice find.

    Qsd_Dan Finds

This was fun -     Thanks for the FB scouring, that took some time.     Iowa is coughing up some goodies, two in Newton.  That A102 in Vegas is a cutie, always liked the BOL Highlander.

It's Official - Tide Free & Gentle Powder is Gone for Good

It's been a while since I've bought the Tide powder from Costco, certainly a good deal and it's about the only place we can find powdered detergent now.  I'll have to look next time I'm there but I've not seen the Kirkland powder for a while.  Perhaps it's selling out quickly or just not...

    Singer "Featherweight" Sewing Machines

I've bought a couple of these over the years for my mother, a prolific quilter of 30 years.  A few of her friends had them and she wanted to give one a try.  The first one she bought from a friend 20 years ago, had it serviced at the Singer shop and it worked OK.  It was in minty, like-new...

A Maytag A806: with a couple of Australian modifications

Leon, that is excellent work.  Congrats on getting this Maytag worthy of "daily-driver" status.  The stainless bowl and new agitator really steal the show, at least for us over here.  It's interesting to see that fixed-vane agitator and how it moves the wash.   Well done, thanks for sharing!
