    over sudsing/excess foam

Hmmm, thought about this when I put a pan with cooking oil I didn’t wipe off with a bread loaf-end I’d give outside to the critters or at least wipe off with pancakes I’d made with oil followed by sausages that I’d normally wouldn’t just put in the dishwasher… Hope that helped somewhat if...

    WHAT would YOU do?

Nobody could care less! Here's what this title (along with the remake of "Watermelon Man", and I briefly had this album for the version of "The Closer I Get To You". among my curiosity of the other songs) makes me think of:

    WHAT would YOU do?

Information there is still no way to make AI a mind reader… It either does too much of what we can do or should do ourselves or technology is starving for another improvement to be added to save us more work that is manually or cognitively tiresome!

    WHAT would YOU do?

Good luck, DadDoes… Too much that’s simpler, most can’t do without needing a little other peoples’ help…

P.O.D. November 23, 2025 Where’s the Washer and Dryer in that Laundry Room?

Wonder where and what the selling point of the ad is? A busy laundry room with a busy laundry room and all those kids and their clothes… Well, why the small picture of a Kelvinator set that won’t last as long as a Maytag with despite its smaller capacity will do all those multiple loads much...

    WHAT would YOU do?

Nothing, just accept we are being tested on how to think… How to write and speak clearly… How to solve practical problems! We just need to get back in the habit of using our brains 🧠 …

    Lady K combo

That is definitely an ideal type of concept, and leave it to Sears, in the era of being leaders in the washer and dryer field... Too bad that laundry room-in-a-single machine, didn't stay longer, and few today have attempted & could get that mile run for reliability and longevity...

Does anyone have a need for traditional non-LED light bulbs, the kind that were banned?

Yes just about a lot of things ordinary are sellable and have extraordinary value if it’s old and unused and there’s a prediction they’ll no longer again be made… I bought a package of handkerchiefs once, and another time, a package of 100w incandescent GE bug-lamps, yellow bug-b-gone, so...

Dryer doors that open top-down vs. side swing

Downward for me, too... With the lint filter right in the door sill... Though is there a better advantage with the lint filter on the top of the dryer right behind the drum?

    Consolette stereos: 1958-74...

Do you men compact as in all the components in a single cabinet? I have had my share of those, though each component breaking down lead me to going the separate route being the best, viable option... There's one particular, back in the old days of photographing that maybe I can put my one...

P.O.D. 11/16/2025 Sears Ad: Washer & Choice of Dryer

Ooh, what a good catch your look gave! Yes, the combination washer and dryer—wonder if this was a budget one there’d be higher-up models above… Yes, who could forget about the bottom-of-the-line bait-and-switch game?

P.O.D. 11/16/2025 Sears Ad: Washer & Choice of Dryer

Well, what is the best dryer for that washer? Supposedly the two more expensive dryers will have the automatic shut-off by thermostatic control, not a humidistat or moisture sensor? Will that washer have a true slow speed, as opposed to intermittent action, for a delicate cycle? Which dryer...

i can no longer find ordinary incandescent chandelier bulbs, gotta go with leds

Looks like an antique sepia tone—where and how can I get lighting like that?

i can no longer find ordinary incandescent chandelier bulbs, gotta go with leds

Well, those new LED’s aren’t so bad, I have to have 60-watts per light and all six give me… They look like they’re in though, the yellow filaments in there look like they’re on even when they’re off… Still don’t know what happened to the bulbs I bought, but the good ones left from that lamp I...

"This is The Way We Wash Our Clothes" - 16mm Film

At least at the time, no matter how many fabrics, detergents, washing methods and even washing machines, have since been introduced, this video still points out towards some simplicity... And back then, there might not have been anything wrong with sitting on the floor playing with a toy...

    Console stereos: 1958-84

I'm quite certain newer records had the labels that clearly would protect the grooves and playing surfaces from being damaged... Surely costs lead to the design of changers losing the L-shaped "guide", and then them being discontinued altogether when CD's came out and could be put in a changer...
