correction By the early 1940's WRINGER WASHERS overall were taking on a "Chubbier" appearance not just the wringer heads...

Well with that smaller wringer head my guess would be mid 30's. Late 30's the heads got bigger, and by the early 40's wringers were already taking on a "Chubby" appearance overall, with encased tubs. Just my though on it. Wonder what the original color was?
