Fred, Your pictures are great. I never cease to be fascinated by this machine. I still remember the day we brought my 350 home and plugged it in....it sprung to life and has been washing ever since. I can only imagine how complex the gearcase must be inside. The person who gets this washer will...

mountains of ironing to do and my diet pill is wearing off.....so it's a good thing I found this GE steam iron with Power Spray. It has been used maybe once or twice at the most. Works beautifully even the spray feature. I am guessing maybe from the middle '60s.

Ben, That was so great to see that brochure again. I remember my Mother bringing that brochure home when she bought her A502S/De502 set in Decmber of 1964. Of course I was miffed because she didn't buy the 702 set. Roger

Andrew, The machine uses the fan and heating element outside the tank(flo-thru drying) to dry the dishes. I haven't changed this dishwasher at all.......this was the way it was manufactured.

Here is the wash arm support for the KA-clearly an 18 series pump. The machine is such an interesting mix of 17 and 18. It does pump some water around in the tank....all 50 gpm going through the one wash arm. So far eveything has come out clean both top and bottom racks. I am thinking the rpm's...

As requested here is the Flair. :-) We have had a few great Thanksgivings thanks to that Flair.

Interior shot. There is only the bottom wash arm....no constant rinse on the top of the tank. Does anyone notice anything not consistent with a 17 series machine in this picture?

Interior is in great shape as are the racks. Notice the racks and the door with the gasket on it are consistent with a 17 series machine.

Control panel has buttons for Full cycle,Rinse&hold and soak cycle. I did have the timer rebuilt by Reeco.

I decided to bring this dishwasher out of storage and use it for a while. A very cool front-load Kitchenaid......model KDR-67B. Love the full-width bar on the door.

The Maytag rerinsing a load of sheets from the Blackstone 350.....just checking how effective the Blackstone overflow rinse with the high velocity spray is. The water is pretty clear......hmmmmm.

The original washbasket was badly stained from iron....also the procelain was a little rough so I replaced it with a better tub.

The original base on the machine had a lot of rust on it so I replaced it with another in better shape. Also the damper and tub support arms. Not a bad interior for a 42 year old machine.
