    Old School Ice Trays

IMO...the old aluminum ones work excellent Give 'em a quick pass of water from the kitchen faucet, just along the outside, set 'em on the counter and give the lever a firm pull. Mine never shatter the ice cubes. (Mine are "Philco" brand with the aqua pull tab on the end of the tray...

Been using the little baskets of Jet Dry in my KD-12 for years......probably since I restored it back in '99-2000.

Found 'em $7ea in chrome! Man, those look good. Might be a little to "late 50's" for my "early 50's" look. Mmmm...

    Vintage Philco Reversing Door Fridge

I'm drawn to it like a moth to a flame It's such a tempting restoration project. To bad it needs the refrigeration system rebuilt.

    More Luscious than ever!

Weiner Wraps.......remember those? Man, we used to eat those bad-boys like crazy. Wasn't the "hungry man" song for Campbell's soup, for their new line of chunky soups?

    Vintage Panasonic Microwave!

Those are very cool. I've not seen one in person yet, but seems like others have posted photos of them here when we've been talking about vintage microwaves like Amana Radaranges and such. Nice score!

    More Luscious than ever!

Not liking pot pies? Them's fightin' words! Pot pies were great back then. We used to have a contest to see who could flip theirs over on their plate, and remove the aluminum pan without breaking the pie. Then, if you were really good, you could even turn the pie back upright. Those things...

    More Luscious than ever!

Like Malcom, I also remember the dessert, and you had to cut the foil top over the desert and peel just that part back, in order to get the crust on the apple pie to get crispy. Too funny![this post was last edited: 3/27/2011-21:17]

Of all the things I could buy! Oreck. :)

I've never vacuum'd with their uprights, but do have a couple of their "Super B's." In fact, I was at yard sale a couple weeks ago and found one brand new in it's box, with original sales/ordering forms........for $5. Yeah, it came home with me.

    Wolf BBQ Grill Debut

The property is several rentals, so it could have been a tenant getting rid of stuff, or the landlord cleaning up after a tenant and setting stuff out at the curb. It was pretty unused when I found it, and had several bags of different flavors of smoking wood chips inside. It was quite a...

    Wolf BBQ Grill Debut

Good tip on the different names I'm guessing that if you took a diagram to your local butcher, he could cut that piece for you. They know what it is, as it's a part they've apparently been trimming off and throwing away for decades. I'll tell you though, the absolute best way to cook them is...
