I've shipped a couple of them via UPS, They weigh about 75lbs plus packing, and UPS charged about $110ish to take the cross-country. Both arrived just fine. The RR-4 was definately heavier than the 2 Touchmatic II's that I sold.

The interior light is fed via a "normal" gauge 2 wire electrical cord. It's about like lamp cord.
