@maytag806 that question was base on building a custom washer dryer set like you would custom build a pc base on cycle needs wash rinse temp features ect using the body of a classic washer or modern washer that has no parts and build the machine with parts you bough online or have on hand to fix...

@vacerator you might find my tough strange but i think if whirlpool wents to save themselve including the maytag brand they should return to basic i would see a vm or vmax machine base on the direct drive design but with the commercial grade qualaty of maytag and the technology of the speedqueen...
