Vintage looking Bendix washer and dryer on Aussie Ebay

Hi David I loved the very large square door on those Bendix machines.I have a thing about square doors....Luv em. The only annoying thing about the Bendix machines was part of the door catch. Instead of the usual spring it was a piece of metal against the catch which would flex when you pulled...

    "A" Rated Spin Cycles

Hi Chris People have asked me if im worried about the whirlpool top loader spinning at such low speed (430 I think on slow speed and 630 for fast) but because the tub is so large I think its equivelent to approx 700/800rpm and 1000/1100rpm of a normal size front loader. When I had my admiral top...

Fabric Conditioners -- Regular Or Concentrate ??

Hi people Just wanted to see opinions on this subject. I am just going to say that for use in old front loaders the concentrate seems the right choice because the conditioner department is small in the older machines that you can get the required amount of concentrate in it.The only problem...

    ARIEL COLD WASH POWDER

Im afraid im a believer in HOT washes if the fabric can stand it. I of course wash things at 40. Never washed at 30. Its 40/50/60/95 for me always. Bed things are 60 and whites are 60 and towels/dishcloths etc are 95. I think a hot wash is very hygenic and it stops the machine going gunky and...
