    Brian, She live alone she would wear the same dress all week, soaked undies in the kitchen sink all day then scrubbed them on the glass wash board. She was the type that would roll her stockings down and twist them in a knot. We spent summers with her, good memories.

    Maytag Wringer My grandmother had the same machine,it sat in her kitchen, she seldom used it. She did most of her laundry on a wash board useing the lye soap she made.
