    Kenmore Range

If I were closer I'd get it. I need to find a parts range for Edith... or maybe Edith would need to be a parts range for that one... lol

    1955 Westy Slant-Front dryer!

True... but I will admit I'm paranoid of it. My grandfather died from it (building ships during WWII) and my uncle is dying from it now (crawling around on a ship during Vietnam). Asbestosis is a nasty disease.

    A Kenmore from Kenmore (Ohio)

Bob, I didn't see the full control panel, just the bits and pieces in the original thread. I was just looking at the basic styling. My mistake. Sorry! Will

FREE!..How Dry I am Westinghouse Dryer, Baldwin, NY CL

I missed the post above. I own one and so does Mark. I do know that not every one of that model has the xylophone... Mine with two knobs has the xylophone (a '53 model with rounded glass)... Mark's with one knob (a '54 model with pointed glass) has a buzzer. I was thinking the one knob...

FREE!..How Dry I am Westinghouse Dryer, Baldwin, NY CL

I don't think it's the how dry I am model. With no knob on the right side, that means it's the lower model. Still always fun to see a matched set. If you or anyone is ever selling the matching washer, I know my friend Mark (Marks on here) would love to have it. He's had a dryer for years...

    This one is kinda rare!!

Quite compact and revolutionary for the period. The first stack-able machines, as I recall.

Somebody in NC...quick, grab this bodacious Frigidaire!!!

I have it on good authority that it's gone.

    This one is kinda rare!!

I'd say late 50's/early 60's I found its home. Looks like a matching fridge, wall oven, sink, and stove top too. http://https//fingerlakes.craigslist.org/zip/d/free-40-long-8-wide-general/6365761903.html

I found it for free. Trying to get it, but the owner didn't respond to my message. This one might not be for me. :/

Hey, what can you tell me about this Radarange? I'm not familiar with this model. A side opening door?

Most common brand of vintage washing machines

Gordon said to me once that he had an 80s Sears Catalog touting that Kenmore had been the top selling washer for over 30 years. I'm sure Sears, being the first to offer credit had something to do with this. It seems to me if you find an pre-80s washer/dryer around here it tends to be a Kenmore...

Door Opening Designs - Early dryers

Maybe Maytags. I know someone could in theory lock someone in the old ones with the handles the way the were. That said, good luck to the kid that fit in there... Those doors were quite small.

    Custom Imperials Together Again!

Beautiful! So question, how did Westinghouse and Frigidaire get by making Custom Imperials at the same time? I just picked up a Westy Custom Imperial Dryer at the Auction in PA.

1958 Westy dryer - free to a good home.

Hey fellas, I wanted to try one more time to see if someone wanted my 1958 Westinghouse Dryer. I just don't have the space and it's too nice to part out. I'm told all it needs is a timer repair. The old one may be salvageable, but I haven't tried. Come and get it or I may just have to part...

Is this a Vintage Westinghouse Microwave???

John, if you decide to let it go. I'm interested. I've been looking for one for a couple of years now. This one didn't show up in my searches! Doh! That's what I get for taking a couple of weeks off from A.W. I've got the perfect spot for it.
