Hotpoint 9545 Electronic 1200 De Luxe

yes Craig it's a centre tapping on the field coils, so the timer bypasses one of the sets of coils which has the effect of increasing the motor speed though reducing the torque, so an ideal way to achieve the high spin speeds, when the vast proportion of the water and therefore loading on the...

    LG front loader, spin problems

Hi Henene4 It's a 2009 machine, it's on a label stuck to the top of the tub, and yes it's definately a fixed tub, I have to admit when I first looked inside I thought the transit fixings hadn't been removed, as I say I don't know much about lg machines and when what features were introduced...

    Hoover A3110 help needed please

It was a brand new timer if I remember correctly, so considering the relatively small load of the pump compared to say the heater, I'd hope the timer wouldn't be faulty. Also doesn't it pick up a neutral from the heater, could there be a fault there? Saying that, have I got a different machine...

Washing Machines being made in the UK again - Ebac

yes Rob I agree with you, exactly like the hotpoint 95s, far easier for drum, heater and bearing repairs, but I understand the split tub design, one common back half, then different depth fronts depending on the drum/load size, cheaper production costs. Yes great these are now being produced...
